On 25.04.2018, in the premises of the University of Tourism and Management in Skopje, a panel entitled "Institutionalization of Human Resource Management" was held. The tribune, as part of the annual program of the Faculty of Human Resource Management, was aimed at opening up the current issues regarding the situation in the human resources management in the real sector and the efforts of the educational institutions to create competent staff for managing human resources.
The panel was organized in two panels. The first panel entitled "Needs of the business sector from the standardization of the profession for human resources management" was moderated by Darko Petrovski, Secretary General of the Macedonian Human Resources Association, and Marija Todorovska, a specialist in training and development in Ohridska banka AD, Kristina Spiroska, Head of the Human Resources Department at Halk Bank, Natasha Janevska, State Advisor at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia, and Neda Maleska Sachmaroska from the Change Management Center. The credibility of speakers in this panel was the reason for opening the most subtle issues of implementation and institutionalization of human resources management.
The second panel entitled "Preparation of Human Resource Management Professionals in the Education Process" was moderated by the Dean of the Faculty of Human Resource Management, Prof. Aleksandra Stoilkovska PhD. This panel featured: Prof. Konstantin Petkovski PhD from the University "St. Kliment Ohridski "in Bitola, Biljana Chlamovska from Clear View Skopje and prof. Dr. Mario Dumancic from the Baltazar Zapresic University in Croatia. In this panel, the discussion went in the direction of activities undertaken in the formal and informal education sector in the creation of human resources management professionals.
The conclusions that emerged from the debate are relate to the conclusion that the human resources management in our country is established through the process of globalization in the private sector. The public sector has set the basics for implementation, but there are still some notable results in that direction.
